Your ideas, on your device

Privacy

You can read every guide without an account. Your saved ideas and salon brief stay in your browser.

Effective 3 October 2026.

Saved ideas and notes

When you save a guide or write a brief, this site uses browser local storage. The saved guide identifiers and text remain on that browser and device. They are not submitted to Hair Ideas Now or to a salon. They do not sync between devices. Clearing browser data, private browsing or storage restrictions can remove or prevent saving.

You can remove individual saved ideas, clear the full shortlist on the Saved page, and clear your notes on the salon brief page. Downloaded files and printed copies are controlled by you; clearing the website does not remove those copies. Anyone with access to your browser may be able to read saved notes, so avoid sensitive details on shared devices.

Requests to the website

The site is hosted by Hostinger. Like ordinary web hosting, requests may create technical logs containing information such as IP address, requested page, browser details and time. We do not use analytics scripts, advertising pixels, third-party fonts or embedded social media in this edition. We have not independently verified the host’s exact log-retention period. See Hostinger’s privacy policy for its processing information.

Links and downloads

External references take you to the source publisher, which has its own privacy practices. Our text brief is created in your browser. We do not collect a name, email address, selfie or payment details, and there is no contact or newsletter form.

Updates

If the site adds a feature that sends information to a server or another service, this notice should be updated before the feature is used. Check the effective date above when returning.
